Deep Thoughts
Does anyone else remember this from Saturday Night Live? I absolutely hated this segment of the show when I was younger, as I never found them remotely funny (though, to be fair, I was usually asleep at this point, as it was always a challenge to make it much beyond 11:15pm or so). I actually had a bit of a “deep thought” of my own yesterday whilst digging into a tin of Celebrations (for those of you unfamiliar with Celebrations, click on the link) at work today and contemplating the difference between a Mars Bar & a Milky Way. One of life’s great mysteries, I know. A colleague of mine informed me that Milky Ways supposedly have more caramel and that’s as far as the difference goes. Anyway, I had to laugh at myself for contemplating this and immediately thought of Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey. (Please don’t judge, it was one of those wonderfully hectic days at work.)
